Bill Lindberg

One of Bill Lindberg’s many goals as a coach is to represent his profession well by continually striving for mastery. Recognized as a Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation, Bill serves his clients and his profession with equal vigor by staying abreast of the latest advances in the field and applying this knowledge and insight to his work.

Bill received his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College, his law degree from the University of Minnesota, and certification in professional coaching from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara where he is a longtime member of and Leadership Team. He has taught executive coaching at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Bill has served for more than two years as the Executive Director of The Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO).

After leaving the active practice of law and becoming a full time coach in 1998, Bill worked in a variety of senior managerial positions at west publishing, one of the premier legal publishing companies in the country. As the National Manager for Market Relations, Bill worked closely with key individuals in corporate, government, and private law firms as well as in law schools and libraries. Bill also developed and delivered educational programs and hired and managed a staff of lawyers and paralegals.

Known for his keen sense of humor, dazzling skills in front of an audience, his affability and willingness to do what needs to be done, Bill enjoys the camaraderie he finds as a member of Rotary International. He first became a Rotarian in Minnesota. Upon relocating to California in 2004, Bill joined the Rotary Club of Montecito where he is now on the board and has chaired the Club’s annual golf classic fundraiser. He also serves as the Moderator at the First Congregational Church of Santa Barbara, U.C.C. He returns to Minnesota regularly to spend time at Deer Lake in Northern Minnesota and to work with Minnesota clients.

A long time resident of Minnesota, Bill now lives in Santa Barbara California with his wife, Connie.
